PM Modi to launch various developmental projects in Lucknow

Within hours of touching down from South Africa, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will head to Lucknow.

His visit prove to be a boost for urban housing and infrastructure in the state.

Over 90 projects under AMRUT, Smart City and Pradhan Mantri Awaas yojana will be launched.

All 3 programmes have completed 3 years transforming lives of people all across country.Local Bodies and Municipal corporations of various states have showcased their Innovative projects and best practices under Awas Yojana ahead of PM Modi’s Visit to Lucknow.

Under PMAY (U) so far, 54 Lakh dwelling units have been sanctioned against a demand of 1 crore in last 3 years of implementation.

And over 28 lakh units are already in various stages of construction.

Meanwhile, Under Pradhanmantri Awas Yojana Rural of the 2.67 crore houses, one crore will be built by 2019 while the rest will be constructed by 2022.

Prime Minister will also interact with beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas yojana.
