‘Shoe hospital’: Why Anand Mahindra says this cobbler should teach at IIM

JIND: ‘Zakhmi Juton Ka Asapatal’ (hospital for wounded shoes) – this unique banner by a cobbler in the city is catching everyone’s eye.
Narsi Ram, probably, won’t be aware that his unique marketing style has impressed the renowned businessman Anand Mahindra, who says he should be teaching marketing lessons at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM).
The banner says: OPD- 9am to 1pm, lunch- 1pm to 2pm and the ‘the hospital’ will be open from 2pm to 6pm. “All the shoes are repaired here with German technique,” it also says.
Mahindra got Narsi’s picture with on WhatsApp, and it impressed him. He further said, “If Narsi is still doing this job, he would like to invest in his ‘startup’. Investment idea is far-off thought but Mahindra group team has sent flowers and a momento to Narsi. He was given city tour on Mahindra tractor as a gift from the company.
His tweet is taking rounds on social media and has been retweeted many times.
